3D Printing Service Da Nang | Custom Parts Shipped - 3DMaker
3DMaker manufactures custom 3D printed parts and models to your file and ships to Da Nang from its workshops in Ho Chi Minh City. Making to order since 2014, more than 15,000 orders delivered: prototypes, jigs, enclosures, industrial models, display pieces and mascots. English quotes, usually the same working day.
No workshop in Da Nang — and that is the honest framing
Everything is printed in Ho Chi Minh City and couriered, typically 1–2 days in transit for standard parts. In practice that means you cannot drop in to inspect a print, so 3DMaker works photo-first: images of the finished part before it ships, and for appearance-critical jobs a small test piece couriered before the full run. If holding the part before approval is essential, say so early and we plan for it.

Resin SLA prototypes ready for dispatch. Rigid parts like these ship well and need no finishing on arrival.

Why ship from Ho Chi Minh City instead of printing locally
There are desktop printers in Da Nang, and for a small PLA part they are the sensible choice — 3DMaker will say so rather than take the order. What brings Da Nang clients here is work a desktop machine cannot do:
Size. Single parts to 350 × 350 × 350 mm, and larger pieces printed in sections, bonded and finished — display work up to 200 cm. Industrial resin SLA. ±0.1 mm and a surface you can paint straight onto, from five 355 nm laser machines. Engineering materials. PA12-CF, continuous carbon fibre composite, ABS, TPU — not just PLA. 3D scanning. Reverse engineering a part with no drawing. Finishing. Filling, sanding, priming, spray and hand painting to a colour reference.

200 cm display piece — printed in sections, bonded, filled, sanded and painted, then crated for delivery.

Airbrush finishing on a detailed sculpture. This level of paintwork is the part a desktop print cannot reach.
What Da Nang clients order
Industrial and engineering
Scale models for showrooms and trade stands, jigs and fixtures, enclosures, and replacement parts for equipment no longer supported by the manufacturer.

Industrial equipment model with the internal structure exposed for training and sales use.

Substation model — the kind of piece that travels to trade fairs and has to survive the trip.
Hospitality, F&B and events
Branded display pieces, oversized product replicas for photo points, signage elements and booth props — Da Nang has a dense hospitality and events sector, and this is the work that comes from it most often.

Brand activation piece built for an event stand.

Another activation build — crated, shipped and installed on site.

Character build for an exhibition stand — printed, assembled and painted, then installed on site.
Product and design teams
Form and fit prototypes, appearance models, packaging mockups, and short pre-production runs where tooling is not justified yet.
Technologies and tolerances
| Technology | Typical use | Tolerance | Build size |
|---|---|---|---|
| Resin SLA | Smooth surfaces, fine detail, display models, jigs | ±0.1 mm | Five industrial 355 nm laser machines |
| FDM | Functional parts, housings, cost-sensitive volume | ±0.2 mm | 350 × 350 × 350 mm per part |
| FDM in ABS | Heat and impact resistance, enclosures | ±0.2 mm | 25–35 cm per part |
| PA12-CF | Jigs, fixtures, brackets, parts under load | ±0.2 mm | Quoted per drawing |
| Continuous carbon fibre composite | Metal-replacement jigs, EOAT, structural fixtures | ±0.2 mm | Quoted per drawing |
| TPU | Flexible gaskets, grips, protective parts | ±0.2 mm | Quoted per drawing |
| 3D scanning | Reverse engineering, parts with no drawing | — | Handheld and tripod scanning |
Parts larger than one build volume are printed in sections, bonded and finished — 3DMaker has delivered display pieces up to 200 cm this way.
Shipping and lead time
| Stage | Typical time |
|---|---|
| Quote after you send the file | Same working day, usually |
| Printing | Depends on size and process — a large part can run 40–50 hours on the machine |
| Post-processing and finishing | 1–3 days depending on finish |
| Courier to Da Nang | 1–2 days for standard parcels; large crated pieces take longer |
3DMaker quotes the full realistic timeline up front, not just the print time. We do not offer same-day printing.
